Here is a fun set of props from Ian Adair, that can be mixed and matched to reveal various cards. You get a solid black envelope-style card holder with an open front. Plus two die-cut jumbo sized cards. The pips that cut out, combined with printing on both sides of the card, allow you to represent different cards simply by showing the jumbo card in the folder or out of it. (I put a white backing on the reverse side of my own black envelope holder, as this allows for some impactful contrasts -- you may find you want to make this simple adjustment after you get this. But even without this modification, the various card values are obvious.)
The instructions teach two routines. One where a spectator chooses the Ace of Spades, but when you show your prediction, it if the Five of Spades. However, when you remove it from the holder, four of the pips are cut out, leaving just one, with Ace indices. The other routine reveals two chosen cards, the Eight and Six of Spades, which of course adds up to the 14 of Spades.
The Jumbo Cut out cards are about 8 inches by 6 inches -- a bit bigger than typical Jumbo cards
NOTE: no deck of cards included -- use your own regular deck. The deck of cards in the photo is only there so you quickly get a sense of the size scale of the props.
If you happen to wear a black or dark jacket while performing, you can play around with holding the cut-out cards to your jacket after removing from an envelope, and they will appear as whole cards. :-)
