One of my favorite props is a large version of the classic Money Maker. The one that is currently available is an impressive prop, made from wood (check our other listings in our ebay store, as we probably have that one in stock also). But about 15 years ago, the same size Money Maker was being made with a metal frame around the wood, and it gave the prop a much cooler and even more impressive appearance. The older metal and wood version also has roller knobs made of wood with metal ends.
So imagine my joy when I came across one of these older metal and wood versions among a lot of estate magic. And since I already have one of these great looking Money Makers in my own collection, the joy can also be yours.
The picture tells it all! You can see how impressive this metal and wood version is. It is (in my opinion) the BEST large-size version of this classic visual effect!
The magician shows his marvelous invention, the Ronco Bill-o-matic, which is his ticket to wealth unlimited. Put a blank piece of paper into the back of the rollers, turn the handles, and the paper instantly emerges as a real dollar bill! (Do this fifty times and you have covered the purchase price! Just kidding!) Put the one back in and crank it through, and it comes out a five. Or put two fives in and merge them into one ten!
Or make a $20, or $100... whatever your budget can support :-)
Use it to demonstrate how quickly Jeff Bezos makes money... Put a blank paper in the back, and in two seconds of turning the handles, it comes out a $100 bill (which is about how fast Jeff's wealth increases). Or it can show how Kim Kardashian makes money. Show the blank paper (a MRI scan of Kim's mind) and feed it into the "reality TV machine", and you don't need to do anything (just like Kim), and the blank paper comes out as a $100 bill!
This prop is really great looking, and adds an air of credence to the effect that has otherwise been relegated to the plastic toy magic category. It is truly a beautiful illusion to see the blank paper go in as the real bill emerges! Don't miss this one! It is awesome!
NOTE: ($20 bill shown in picture is not included, but you knew that already, right?)
The manufacturer switched to all-wood version of this back in 2007, so this wood and metal one has not been available for over 15 years. But you can get one here!
