Way back in the 1970's, Jose de la Torre put out a trick where a chosen card was revealed using the "Magician's Credit Card". It was a good trick, very strong for lay audiences, even though the Magician's Credit Card did not look like a real credit card. (It looked more like a laminated membership card).
Well, now James Ford has produced another version of the "credit card reveals chosen card" effect, and I am happy to say that he has produced truly realistic-looking credit cards. Now this is one of my favorite carry-at-all-times tricks. The effect is simple:
You show the spectator your credit card, and tell her if you fail to find her chosen card, she can go on a shopping spree with your credit card. She picks a card, lets say the 8 of Diamonds. (Why not? since it will be the 8D). You make a few feigned attempts to find her card, but fail. handing her your credit card, she finds that the picture of Abraham Lincoln (logo of the Lincoln Savings bank) now is holding a tiny 8 of diamonds!
See the photos to get a better picture of this. You can use your own Himber wallet to switch cards, or a simple pocket swicth is described in the instructions. (I keep my set of these credit cards in my Himber wallet, and even when I am doing another effect, they serve as duplicate camoflage in the wallet, if you know what I mean).
Excellent easy impressive magic. Usually sells for about $20-$23. Get it here for less.
Brand new with instructions (No Himber wallet supplied, but we do sell a great one -- check our other listings!)
