This booklet contains 20 routines, all based using existing common props (well, common in 1972... some of the props are less common now, but most are still in the closets or working cases of most magicians)
Jim Magus write this book when he was still in his teens. Of course, he has since gone on to write many books on Bizarre Magick, and become well-known in Bizarre and mental magic circles. In this book, we see his early efforts at creating meaningful presentations for common apparatus.
As you would expect from a book published in 1972, there are some presentations that focus on pollution, ecology, peace vs. war, etc. Still valid topics though perhaps not as topical as when the book was written. Nonetheless, they are all good examples of "thinking beyond the instruction sheet" and finding different ways to present an effect. And there are also routines that show Magus' early interest in spooky and "bizarre" magic presentations. Most of the routines also include combining multiple effects into one longer presentation.
