The late Aldo Colombini seemed to have an almost infinite amount of knowledge about close-up magic -- his DVDs display a depth and breath of knowledge, backed up with actual ability to also perform all the thousands (millions?) of tricks he knew.    On this DVD, from 2006, he shows a bunch of effects using Cards and Dice.  (You probably guessed that from the title...)   

Some of the items are "process-heavy", as is common with many card and dice tricks.  But hey, he teaches 13 different items, so even if a few of them are more like puzzles than magical moments of astonishment, you still get a lot of clever and entertaining material on this DVD.  And a few of them are downright foolers, even for well informed and experienced magicians.    For laypeople, who see the natural connection between dice and cards (gambling), these routines hold a high degree of interest.

Routines are not completely sleight-free, but all are well within the grasp of even beginners with cards.   Nothing beyond elementary card sleights used.

Get this DVD for a glimpse of Aldo Colombini's knowledge and irresistably likeable personality, and to add some great routines to add to your repertoire.
