Originally written in the 1940's, this is Dariel Fitzkee's examination of the art of muscle-reading and contact "mindreading" -- that is, using a spectator's unconscious movement to guide you.
Most famously used by Kreskin to find his paycheck hidden in a large theatre, he would put his hand on the theatre manager's shoulder, and then tell the manager to walk this way or that way, finally coming to a stop at the very seat beneath which his paycheck was hidden!
No guarantees that you will become as proficient at this as Kreskin, but Fitzkee does give you all the info you need to learn and practice (you need to practice this a lot!) the fine art of contact mindreading.
As close to real mind reading as you can get.
