THE BOTTOM COLLECTORS 51 pages paperback booklet 1975 Tannen edition (of Cyprian's self-published 1971 text).

I first heard of Father Cyprian when I learned his small packet Wild Card in Frank Garcia's Super Subtle Card Miracles book. (I still think it is one of the standout routines in that excellent book, and I perform Cyprian's Wild Card for magicians who I particularly want to fool!) Although Cyprian is not as well known as he should be, readers of Fulves' and Racherbaumer's periodicals, as well as Lorayne's Apocalypse will surely have seen his name and strong, well-thought-out magic.
The Bottom Collectors was Cyprian's exploration of the Roy Walton Collectors plot, taking a new tack on how to accomplish the necessary secret moves and machinations. Like many card manuscripts from the 1970's, it offers multiple solutions to the same problem, allowing the card worker to choose which best suits his style, ability or venue. The booklet is simply typeset, with very few illustrations, so be prepared to READ. (Remember reading? It is how we used to learn magic before VHS, DVD, and Instant downloads.)
If you like detailed card work, or the Collectors plot, or both, this is a booklet you will like. Nothing in it is technically difficult beyond the skills of an intermediate card worker.
This is new-old dealer inventory, from 1990's, but in like new condition, unused and never previously owned. However, the book does have some minor spots on the cover and price sticker residue on the back.
