An extra large version of the classic nut off string effect, precision made in brass. You can see the size of the nut in the photo, comparing it to the US Half dollar next to it. (The half dollar is not used in the trick, and not included).
A brass nut is threaded onto a shoelace by the spectator. With the ends always held by the spectator (they can even be tied together and sealed with wax -- the ends, not the spectator!), the magi puts a hanky over the center of the lace, covering the nut. Under this cover, he removes the nut in just seconds. The nut and lace and hanky are dropped into the spectators hands for a thorough examination.
Great close-up magic! But the larger nut gives you options not possible with the standard (smaller) version of the spirit nut. Instead of a shoelace, the nut can be caused to penetrate a pen or pencil, or even a padlock. You can also use the larger nut for some of your favorite "finger ring off shoelace" routines -- even with the ungimmicked nut! Combining some sleight of hand methods, plus the classic gimmicked method, makes for a very strong effect.
Brand new with instructions.
