This is a very effective piece of card magic. If you don't believe me, watch Regal perform it on You Tube. Or you can ascertain that it must be good since after 35 years (since this first issue of the trick by Meir Yedid), it is still manufacturered and sold, and still by Meir Yedid. He knows this one is a "keeper"!
This is one of the more currently released versions from Yedid's magic company, made with poker-sized Bicycle cards.
The effect: a card is selected and mixed back into the deck. Then the magi takes a single card and saws it down into the top of the deck, actually penetrating through the cards, slicing them in two. The sliced cards fall to the floor, and where the magi has stopped slicing, the next card is... you guessed it: the chosen card.
Everything can be examined at the end of the effect if you wish, but it is so clean and visual that spectators usually just sit back in wonder and applaud.
Meir Yedid and creator David Regal both still sell this effect for $20, but get it here for bit less.
CONDITION NOTE: brand new and unused with instructions.
