One of the great "classic" books of card effects, filled with smart effects by many well-known magicians (Vernon, Annemann, Daley, Judah, James, Kosky, Gardner, etc).     Most of the effects show Annem,ann's flair for finding dramatic and theatrical premises, even when doing an impromptu card effect.  

(Note:  some of the effects are not strictly impromptu, but none require major prep) 

First editions of this book (originals were printed with a brown cover) fetch $20-$25 when they come up for sale.  But if you want a bargain price for all the same contents, this Robbins reprint from about 15 years ago is the way to go!
