This 2001 booklet by Aaron Smith details a single routine, using a deck of cards and the legend of Billy the Kid. It combines elements of Paul Harris' "Reflex" routine with a couple of other "cards to pocket"-type effects. What makes it work is the detailed patter story that Smith has written and applied to the effects. So the Reflex trick becomes an illustration of fast-draw instincts and skill, then cards become bullets, as one if fired into your chest, only to come out the back. Then the killer's bullet vanishes from the gun, and appears in your pocket.
You get the idea. Or maybe not -- it's hard to explain. But the combination of cards repeatedly vanishing and appearing elsewhere, all tied into a (more or less) factual telling of the life of Billy the Kid, makes this 7-8 minutes of very memorable card magic. Card Magic that goes beyond simply finding chosen cards.
Booklet is in new condition, all pages are tight and unmarked. It does have some price sticker residue on the cover.
