In this effect, a penny is placed on the back of the spectator's hand, and when it is tapped with the magi's ballpoint pen, the penny instantly and VISIBLY changes to a dime. 

Both pen and dime can be examined.    

This is a startling change of a coin into another, and not particularly difficult to do...there's a bit of a knack to it, but after ten minutes of practice, you will get it, and this will become one of your favorites.

Please note:  the gimmicked penny included is not made from a real US coin -- it is a replica, but looks very good from even a short distance.  At the end of the trick, the dime is real and examinable.  (No dime included -- use any dime)    This trick used to be supplied with a penny gimmick made from a real US Cent, but now it comes with the replica gimmick.  But unlike many replica coin gimmicks, this one easily passes for the real thing!
