To start, I will say that this is not a TENYO product, as far as I can tell.  But the sponge quality and shape/design of the rabbits is exactly like the original Tenyo item.    The set comes in a poly bag, and I thought perhaps these sets were packaged by Tenyo for the European market, since Tenyo often put their original product into simple polybag packages for that multiple-language market.   But while the instruction sheet is very, very similar to the original Tenyo sheet, it does not have the Tenyo logo or identification.  This leads me to believe this Mr. Rabbit set was not made by Tenyo.   That said, the props are identical and match the high quality of the Tenyo original.    Maybe made in the same factory in Japan as the Tenyo sets were made.

I obtained these sets about 20 years ago, but they got stashed away in the magic store room, and just came to light.  Luckily (because of the high quality "super soft" sponge material, the years have caused no degrading or hardening of the sponge.  Since I got these sets in a lot of ex-dealer inventory, I never knew the manufacturer.  At the time, I was certain they were original Tenyo product, but for this ebay listing, I am saying they are not.   Still, they are an excellent prop for performance, or as a Tenyo collection substitute for the very rare Tenyo Mr. Rabbit set.

The set comes with four small rabbits and one large rabbit that can convert into a ball.  The routine taught uses the small rabbits for basic spone moves, and in the end, the four small rabbits are poked in to the hand and change into one big rabbit.   But you can also use the big rabbit gimmick as a ball-to-rabbit effect in a regular round sponge ball routine.

My online research shows a lot of versions of the Mr. Rabbit trick out there now, and I cannot speak to relative quality of the (non-Tenyo) sets.   All I can say is that this set is excellent quality, and I doubt you would find better quality anywhere, (even if you find an original Tenyo set!)

New-old dealer inventory, never used.
