Undated (circa 1974) Doubleday re-print of Harry Blackstone, Sr's 1929 beginners book on magic, which was probably ghost-written by Walter Gibson. Though the apparatus and Stage magic sections contain tricks that seem old-fashion and dated, the sections on Mental magic and Pocket tricks are filled with items that can still be effectively used today. 160 pages, hardbound with dustcover. Very good condition, tight and clean. Some pencil price information inside front cover, and small tear in the dust cover.
