Dick Zimmerman first introduced this trick back in the 1970's, and now here is an inexpensive version from Asia that allows magicians to do this cool pocket trick once again.
The picture tells the story… Spectator puts finger in the tube, and a toothpick is pushed GENTLY into the hole, allowing the spectator to learn that this activity causes pain! (Just kidding, but spectator will realize that the finger blocks the toothpicks passage). Now magi sticks his finger into the tube, and proceeds to stick six picks through the tube and out the other side.
Can be viewed from all sides, and when the picks come out, the finger is no worse for wear. I like to use six identical wooden toothpicks, as it looks more deceptive in my opinion, but it comes with plastic picks as shown.
My large hands (that's me in the pic, not a professional "hand model"!) are still able to work in this trick so it should work for just about everyone, unless you are bigger than 6' 3", 200 pounds.
