From Rick Saphire, who put out a number of close-up items inthe early 1990's. This one, from 1992, is based on a familiar card effect (Nick Trost had a version called Kopy Kat). Saphire printed business size cards to do the trick, and so it takes it away from the realm of "another card trick". But in essence, it is the old classic Do-as-I-Do effect, with two sets of five specially printed (business-size) cards.
It uses a Hollywood talent show theme in the presentation, where the spectator and the magician each pick out a card from the five card packets. Spectator and magi both pick out picture of Marilyn Monroe in the "Star Search". Spectator thinks all the other cards may be the same, and for socko finish, all the other cards are "The Same"...yes, they say that on them in bold letters.
These are from old-new dealer inventory, from about 30 years back, but still new and unused. Nice collectible and also a good little pocket trick for off-the-cuff perfromances
