This is a simple, relatively easy-to-do version of the classic Touch Turn (or Twisting the Aces) effect, in which cards turn facedown one at a time inside of packet of cards.  It uses one easily learned count to make the effect clean and much simpler than other sleight-intensive versions.

Four of a kind are shown faceup, and the packet is closed, and when spread again, a red back is now showing -- one of the cards has turned facedown.  This is repeated four times, each time the reversed card turning faceup again and a different suit turning down.   You ask the spectator what color the backs are, and she says "red", but now you show all four cards to have BLUE backs.   For the kicker ending, the backs of the cards change to completely different designs, showing some beer and soft drink brands.

The finish with four various libations is, of course, where the trick gets its name.  but in the instructions, there are ideas for using different kinds of cards, dots, animals, etc -- just in case you need to avoid beer labels and unhealthy sugary drinks for your kidshows.

This is a "revised" release of his trick, which is why it is called You Must Be Drinking #2.   The instructions are basically the same, but two additional ending handlings were added to the original instructions.  Also, I like the Beer cards provided with this set -- a good contrasting variety of designs and colors, including everybody's favorite canine spokesperson, Spuds McKenzie!

This is an older item, from the early 1990's,  put out by the talented and creative Jerry Somerdin.  The stock may be 25+ years old, but the cards are unused and as new -- instructions are a photocopy of the original instruction sheet.
