One of my favorite packet tricks of all time, I remember with pleasure when I had the opportunity to see Phil Goldstein perform this as part of his close-up set at Earthquake Magoon's Magic Cellar in San Francisco, back in 1978. The effect is great: a story of playing an odd poker game called Five Card Joker, the magi shows five faceup jokers. They turn facedown one by one, then the backs change color, and in the end, you end up with a Royal Flush. It is very clean, and visual. No funky switches, etc. Here's an original set that Hank Lee put out back in 1978, still in good shape with original instructions.
