Mark Mason's Mirage Wallet (which he released thru his JB Magic company) is one of the great "under-appreciated" versions of the card in wallet effect.   Like another excellent (and "well-appreciated") no-palm version, the classic Mullica wallet, Mason's Mirage Wallet requires no palming.    But I think Mirage did not catch on because of the four Mirage wallets I have come across in my magic dealings, only 50% of them worked correctly.   The wallet is gimmicked in a clever way to heighten the magic -- but it seems that many of the Mirage wallets were not made correctly and did not work right.

Good news!  This one works perfectly!  And when the Mirage wallet works perfectly, it is every bit as good as the Mullica Wallet in getting a signed selected card into a wallet without any palming.   I think, even better, as the wallet is a hip pocket wallet (which I think we all agree is more natural and normal), and when you flip it open the card is seen clipped inside the wallet (before you have to do the dirty work!).   When the clip is removed, you pull the card from the pocket, and hand it to the spectator.  It is her signed card.

Again, no palming.

The wallet is high quality English leather, and as I mentioned, the gimmick in this one WORKS beautifully.

Very hard to find this wallet now -- this is new-old dealer inventory, new and unused.  Complete with wallet, and DVD instructions as issued.
