This is a recent (circa 2005, I think) reprint of Jean Hugard's ENCYCLOPEDIA OF CARD TRICKS (which was mostly written by Glenn Gravatt). This D. Robbins hardcover reprint is faithful to the original design and layout, even replicating the original dustjacket design.
I won't say much about this book, other than if you do not have it, you should get it.
And if you have one of the Dover paperback editions, you should probably get this inexpensive hardcover version of the book. I am not averse to having paperback editions of almost any book, but I do think that certain books merit owning the hardcover version (because you should study and consult them often). This is one of those books.
One of those books that is perfect for the beginner, but that lives and grows in value as the owner becomes more knowledgeable and experienced in card magic. Go back to it again and again, year after year.
Check out the photos of the Table of Contents (all 8 pages of it!) to get a better idea of just how much good card magic is in this book.
This is new-old dealer inventory from early 2000's, but in like new, MINT condition.
