One of John Fedko's best card routines, based on Alex Elmsley's Atomic Aces, which was itself based on Final Ace Assemby by Bro Hamman -- it's no doubt (with that pedigree) that Fedko would apply his trademark "simplification" and develop a strong routine.
Like most gaffed Ace assembly routines, this one allows aces to be seen among the "indifferent" piles throughout, before they magically gather in the leader pile. This makes for some very convincing transpositions. In the fedko routine, the aces gather, and then the effect is immediately repeated -- the aces are separated again, and yet again they gather.
As is common with Fedko's routines, the handling uses a minimum of sleights, trading subtleties for fingerwork. This handling of the Ace assembly can be done with no sleight of hand, though experienced card workers will see opportunities to combine Fedko's approach with a few extra sleights to further enhance the routine.
