Vintage item from 1976, put out by Nick Trost via his Trik Kards company. This is one of Trost's lesser known packet effects, maybe because it is so simple that many magi probably under-estimated how strong the effect is for laymen.
Show four cards, and fan them out -- two faceup jokers and two face down cards. The packet is squared and turned over to show the facedown cards, and they are also seen to be jokers. The packet is passed through the fist and now the four cards are seen to have bold X's marked on the backs.
Only four cards used. The cards supplied are bridge size aviator back, but this could easily be made up with cards commonly available in may of the now popular poker-sized back patterns. Easy to do, after you get the knack of the key "move" used.
previously owned, but complete with original instruction sheet. Cards are in good shape, though they have a slight warp (from being stored against something soft) -- this does not effect the working or handling. Instructions are original, but are a bit wrinkled and have some tape residue.
