One of the strongest "beginner's" tricks, Tel-a-Color uses the Fillman principle, named for Bob Fillman (though somewhere, I thought that Tan Hock Chuan was credited with discovering this ingenious method...  I suppose it must have been Bob Fillman, or why would they call it the Fillman principle.   But I digress...)

Using a very unique and subtle quality of the five colored cards provided, you can divine which card was chosen by the spectator while your back was turned.   This can be repeated without fear of detection, because the secret is so darned subtle and ingenious

This set of Tel-a-color cards was issued by the Freed Novelty Company in the 1970s

Complete with original props and original package envelope, plus the original Freed instruction sheet.    The packaging envelope has some wear and tear but the props and instructions are like new.
