Another cool stand up item from the fertile mind of Ton Onosaka, this is an update on the classic spot changing card. You show a "flat dice", showing a side with a five, then turning it to show a two, then turning it again to show a three, and then again to show a four. When spectators think you are hiding spots with your fingers, you show the numbers are actually as you say, and in the end, the flat dice pops up into a 3 dimensional die with spots 1 through 6 on the six sided cube.
I find the popped up die is a bit "fragile", and so you need to practice holding and spinning it so it appears solid. but even if the audience is not fooled by the appearance of the die, they have been fooled by the spot changes and are still surprised to see the die pop up.
(PS according to grammarly.com -- and also Docc Hilford on his DVD -- "dice" is okay to use for a single die... or dice. Oh well, I used them both, just to please everyone.)
This trick comes with one gimmicked self-contained die to perform the routine. Die is 7 inches square
New and unused.
Hard to find this one now!
