2018 was a great year for Tenyo releases, after a number of years (too many) when the annual additions to the Tenyo line were hit or miss. 2018 was mostly hits. (in my humble opinion) Among the goodies released in 2018 was an updated design of the classic finger chopper, called Smart Guillotine.
This finger chopper can literally be built (put together) right in front of your spectators if you want. It is made in simple pieces that snap together. The whole thing has a rudimentary and innocent feel to it -- right down to the binder clip that is used to hold the blade up.
Or start with it completely built. Either way, the effect is amazing.
You can use a finger or rolled up bill, and once in the guillo, the mini binder clip is removed, and the dark plastic blade is pushed down. The sides of the blade are clearly visible on each side of the finger. Of course, when the blade is raised back up and clipped in place, the finger is removed unharmed.
Not difficult to do, but should be practiced to get it down smoothly. (It was much harder to try to get a good poicture of this prop, with out shadows and reflections. It is a very clean and innocent looking prop, since you can see through most of it)
Suggested retail is $16, which the effect is well-worth, but a few online retailers have been selling it for less, so I will, too.
Comes with package and instructions in Japanese -- English instruction sheets are available on a free download, but I will included a printed set in English for you, and save you the trouble)
Brand new and unused, sealed in original package
