This is a recently manufactured version of a comedy item originally put out by Supreme in the 1970's. I feel like the construction and artwork on this new version are on par with the original, which is nice to see these days.

Magi shows a brightly colored cardboard folder, designed and shaped like an Egyptian Sarcophagus. The folder is swung open to show a mummy, wrapped in cloth. The front of the folder is closed, and the magician grabs at a thread sticking out of the top of the folder. He pulls it and a white ribbon starts to come out. He pulls it and pulls it, until the entire white ribbon falls from the folder. And of course, when the folder is opened, the Mummy is now shivering and naked, covering up as best she can.

One might expect this to be a kidshow effect from looking at the brightly colored artwork of the sarcophagus, but let's nip that in the bud, right out front: this item is not designed for kidshows. Even though the naked Mummy is cartoonish and humorously drawn, a lot of parents may find the final display to be inappropriate for little Johnny's birthday party crowd.

I use this as an emcee bit or quickie in my club show, reciting a funny five-line limerick (which I will provide to you if you buy this from TMGS -- you can use it in your own performances, if you wish)

The folder is 14 inches tall, good size for living room and club shows.
