This trick is not often seen, but it is a clever handling of the classic Bagshawe (or Koran) deck that results in a double prediction effect. Tricks, Co. Ltd in Japan that they put out about 20 years ago! I found a few new and unused in a large lot of new-old dealer inventory.
A prediction envelope is placed in full view. Next, a Bicycle poker deck is shown -- it is freely cut by the performer and spectator. The spectator now deals cards faceup onto the table, stopping whenever she wishes. She stops on (for example) the 4 of clubs. With no false moves (because there are none), the performer tips the envelope and a small pasteboard disc slides out. Written on it: 4 of clubs. The spectators are amazed, and demand to see this miracle again! So the magician obliges. The deck is mixed again, and the magi claims he has taken away free-will and choice from the spectator -- he made her choose the 4C. And he remains completely in control. He asks her to cut the cards anywhere she wants. The card cut to is turned up -- it is (say) the 7 of hearts. The disc is turned over, and shows the 7H on the other side! A miracle that happened twice!
(Or "Happend" which is how the instruction sheet is written)
I will tip to you that the climax of this routine can be slightly different depending on what card the spectator chooses. But each alternate finish is equally convincing and puzzling, and all are equally simple and easy to perform.
Brand new with instructions, despite being 20+ years old.
