Although only 15 pages, this booklet contains eleven effects (edited by Annemann, but including items from JG Thompson and William Hewitt, in addition to Annemann).  Most of them are very practical and will play strongly, even for modern mentalism audiences.   I could try to convince you, but maybe best thing I can say here is to pull a quote off the magic online forums:
