This is one of those "wait a minute, that's impossible" effects... I mean that is the response that other magicians will have. (A lot of effects get that response from laypeople, but TAG will smoke the brains of even knowledgeable and experienced magicians, too).
A card is freely selected from the deck, and the spectator signs the face of it. It is cut back into the deck, and (for the magicians watching) the audience can see that there are no secret breaks being held. The card is lost in the deck. The magi then takes one random card from the deck and punches a hole in it's end. The card is seen clearly-- it is not the selection. A small pricing tag with string attached is threaded through the hole in the card, and tied securely. Again the card is seen to be a random indifferent card. Another spectator (or the same one) signs the tag. The tagged card is cut into the deck. The string and tag hang out of the deck, never leaving the view of the spectators. Now... the spectator tugs on the tag and pulls the attached card out of the deck -- no kidding, it is now the original signed selection!
Really strong magic and surprising easy to do!
Brand new and unused, with printed instructions. (This is an early original issue of this trick, before JB Magic began to include DVD instruction discs. So it comes with only printed instruction sheet, but they are clear and easy to understand.)
