I am always looking for magic props that offer a good balance of quality and price -- not necessarily the highest quality props, but good quality at reasonable prices.  So I tried out an economy version of a himber wallet to see if it fit this bill.  To be honest, the vinyl quality of the wallet was not very good, and so I couldn't see using this item as a standard himber style wallet.    But I did like some of the features of the design, and decided to modify it a little myself and create a fun, new routine for this wallet.   So I added a white board section, and dry erase pen, and here is what I'm using it for now (with very good success!):

The magician takes a black vinyl folder/wallet from his pocket and says it contains his daily To-Do list.  He opens it, and shows a few items listed, like walk the dog (done -- crossed out), Groceries (also done -- crossed out).  #3 on the list is Amaze someone.   #4 might say something like Call Mom.  (You can see how these can add a lot of fun to the presentation).   "Well, let's take care of Amaze Someone right now!" you say, as you set the wallet down and take out a deck of cards.  The spectator chooses a card, remembers it, and then the magi slips it facedown into the pocket in the wallet.   The wallet is closed, and the deck put away.  "Here's where I am supposed to Amaze Someone."    Magi tries to guess the name of the chosen card, but misses three times!   But upon opening the wallet, #4 ("Call Mom") has changed to read "Show the Jack of Hearts".   (The spectator gasps since this was her chosen card).   The card is removed from the pocket, shown to be the Jack of Hearts, and the magician concludes by crossing a line through #3 Amaze Someone (now done and crossed out!)

If you are familiar with the Himber wallet mechanics, you will know what is going on here, but will also see this is an easy and entertaining routine.  And by adding the white board writing surface to this economy himber wallet, it both enhances the look and feel of this (otherwise unimpressive) prop, and also saves you from sticking whiteboard in your higher quality, leather Himber wallet.

Comes with the whiteboard wallet, pen, and full instructions, written by yours truly.

You'll have fun with this, and you can customize the To do list, or use it for other writing changes, spirit writing, use with ESP cards, etc.
