This item took the classic packet effect of Bac-Flips, and got rid of anything that looked like it belonged on a playing card: no suits, no values, no back designs. Just pictures of planets, space aliens, green cards and even the famous Fox Channel Alien autopsy photo!
The effect is this: Four cards are counted showing a picture of the Earth from space. Well, three are Earths, but one is a purple Alien. They are counted again, and the Alien has turned green. Next time they are counted, he turns yellow, and one more time, and the alien turns gray. Then all the Earths are gone and there are four Aliens, one of each color. The cards are run through the fist to show they are now all Immigration Cards, proving that these are not Illegal Aliens (groan!). But the cards are turned over to show the horrible fate of any Alien who visits our planet: the four cards now depict the photo of a dead Alien body on an autopsy table from the Fox television hoax show broadcast in the 1990's.
The final photo of the Alien autopsy reference may be a bit dated now, but I just googled it and got 200,000 hits, including the full show online still, for anyone who wants to view it. Even if someone has never seen or heard of the Fox TV hoax, the cards change so many times, and the final autopsy picture can be explained as the fate of any Alien who tries to come to earth. So the trick still plays well! I also use it for kids. They like the "cool" autopsy photos at the end -- at least the boys do!
The cards are laminated so durable enough to last through the next Alien invasion of earth....
