This is a fun card revelation using a cartoon picture of a snake. The design of the props makes it a bit childish for grown-up audiences, but for kids, it's perfect. A folder is shown, and opened and inside is a picture of a snake. (The folder and picture is about 5x9 inches). The folder is closed and a card is selected. When the folder is opened again, the snake has the chosen card in its mouth., The picture can be removed from the folder and cleanly shown.
The card is not printed on the snake picture, but rather the card corners are inserted into slits in the picture (like an old fashion photo album, sort of). This is great because you can change the card to whatever card best suits your routine. And since this is best for kids, you can use alphabet cards, old maid cards, etc
The method of this effect is not complicated and...okay, it's downright simple. But the fun that can be created with this simple, packs-flat-plays-big, prop is much more important than the method.
