A spooky little prop, that also has an air of ordinariness to it, if those two things can be possible together! This classic close-up mystery was invented and first performed by the great Okito, so it shows he was capable of thinking outside the (Okito) box. :-)
Magi/mentalist shows a small straw figurine, and claims it to be a voodoo doll. He lays it on his hand and after a few moments (and patter about how a voodoo doll absorbs the life force of its victim), the small doll begins to move, lifting up to an almost standing position. The performer screams (or not, depending on how dramatic you want to get with this), and the doll falls back down.
Completely self-contained, so you can carry it in your pocket, or an ornate voodoo-ish box (if you have one), and it's always be ready to perform without worrying about thread or magnetic hook ups.
Brand new with instructions.
