I am guessing this was invented by one of the Tenyo guys, and given to Milton Bradley for their Magic Works collection (which got the rights to many Tenyo tricks). But this one never came out under the Tenyo line, so maybe not… It is certainly good enough to stand beside the best of tenyo's offerings.
Effect is that a Van Gogh painting (sorry, only a mini replica!) is put into a packing case, and vanishes, only to reappear elsewhere. It is a really nice dressing-up of a card box effect, and the props can be casually examined at the end if you desired.
Cute looking props are really what make the routine, and a nice change from card tricks, even though it is essentially just another card trick! The Van gogh picture is famous enough that older children usually recognize it and like the effect a lot.
Box has been carefully opened at the top, and is in otherwise excellent condition. Props are complete and like new, and original instructions and box stuffer ads are included.
One of the harder MW items to find... Only have one, so don't wait to long, or the Missing Masterpiece may be missing once more!
