Two separate paddle effects you can maybe use together, because they look like the same paddle rod. Or use them separately because both have strong impact on lay audiences and are easy to carry in your pocket.
Traveling gem is a re-make of the classic Crosstown trick: a rod with four gems, three red and one white, is shown. White gem is at end of row of four, on both sides...it moves one step at a time up the row, apparently changing places with the red gems.
The other trick is Color changing gems, in which three white gems on a paddle rod change to colored gems. (This rod has four gems on each side, and I prefer to switch it in after the Crosstown effect , and climax the routine with the appearance of colored gems.)
The instructions provided are two separate sheets, for two separate effects. But because one side of the Color Changing gems paddle matches the Travelling diamond paddle, you can first perform the Travelling Diamond (Crosstown-type) effect, and then with a simple switch, ring in the color changing gems paddle. When the demand to see it again, this time, all the gems change color!
These two paddle effects have not been available for over a decade, but here is a matched set from a private collection that are in unused condition with original instructions.
